It’s Fall….

The foliage has been losing its freshness through the month of August, and here and there a yellow leaf shows itself like the first gray hair amidst the locks of a beauty who has seen one season too many.  ~Oliver Wendell Holmes

For man, autumn is a time of harvest, of gathering together (Fall BBQ, Halloween Parties, ThanksGiving Parties).  For nature, it is a time of sowing, of scattering abroad.

I love Fall!  Fall is exciting.
It’s apples and cider.
It’s an airborne spider.
It’s pumpkins in bins.
It’s burrs on dog’s chin.
It’s wind blowing leaves.
It’s chilly red knees.
It’s nuts and seeds on the ground.
It’s a crisp dry sound.
  It’s green leaves turning
and the smell of them burning.
It’s clouds in the sky.
It’s Fall.  That’s why …
I love Fall.
