Antoinette and Frederick’s Wedding at the National Museum of Women in Arts in Washington DC

Sunday, August 12th, 2012

Congratulations to Antoinette and Frederick!  Wishing you many many happy years together!

Antoinette and Frederick  celebrated with family and friends while exchanging their vows at the The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) … the only museum in the world dedicated exclusively to recognizing the contributions of women artists.  It was such an honor for Superb Cuisines to caterer your wedding day.  NMWA’s grand architecture and variety of spaces provided an elegant  and special atmosphere to the wedding. It was a beautiful reception enjoyed by all. The night  began at the Great Hall with the wedding ceremony, guests were greeted by a luxurious marble reception area and a ballroom adorned by three beautiful crystal chandeliers and works of art from NMWA’s collection, Da Vinci Florist did an awesome job draping and lighting a room that was already beautiful.  After the ceremony, the guests went to the Third Floor Gallery to enjoy a cocktail reception while surrounded by an extensive display of art, and then on to the Mezzanine level for a dinner service. Each guest had a choice of beef tenderloin paired with a roasted Maine Lobster Tail or Organic roasted chicken  breast stuffed with lump crabmeat (pics below). Our chef and Superb Cuisines  entire team did a fabulous job.

The night ended at the Great Hall with the cake cutting and coffee followed by a lot of dancing :-)

A huge thank you to Lori Brubaker, the Director, Special Events & Community Relations of NMWA for the opportunity to provide catering at this prestigious venue and for all her support during this event also I can’t forget to mention what a pleasure it was to  working with Pamela Coopwood with The Planned Event LLC .

Montgomery All County Network Extravaganza

Food and Art …”The preparation of good food is merely another expression of art, one of the joys of civilized living” Dione Lucas

How about food, art and networking? It sounds even better don’t you agree? :-)

The Montgomery All County Network Extravaganza last night at Huckleberry Fine Art was a tremendous success with more than 200 attendees that enjoyed their time connecting with the right people that really can help them grow their businesses.

We got to see and reconnect  with our old friends, colleagues (BNI, The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce) and met a lot of new people. Thank you to Curt Kowalski with Team Network for putting together this incredible event again. We are looking forward for next one!

The Art of Cooking!

Friday, June 17th, 2011

Cooking is an art and patience a virtue.. Careful shopping, fresh ingredients and an unhurried approach are nearly all you need. There is one more thing – love. Love for food and love for those you invite to your table. With a combination of these things you can be an artist – not perhaps in the representational style of a Dutch master, but rather more like Gauguin, the naïve, or Van Gogh, the impressionist. Plates or pictures of sunshine, taste of happiness and love.

See the pics below showing the love of chef Marcell Bernard to our clients:
