Recycling Day at Boston Properties in Alexandria VA
Superb Cuisines – Catering by Keula Binelly strives to deliver the highest level of catering services with minimal impact to our environment. We believe that we must be a responsible environmental steward – both to ourselves and our clients.
We supported Boston Properties with their Recycling Day, which was a complete success! They received many compliments from the tenants on the event, which recycled 3,380 pounds of electronics, over twenty bins of paper, and roughly ten print cartridges. In addition, all of the were tenants were educated about recycling methods and kept full and happy from the delicious refreshments and snacks from Superb Cuisines! Boston Properties is already planning on their next Recycling Day – Go Green!
Wow! What a great day for a summer party! The theme for the party was a Hawaiian Luau, so we used bright lime, blue, hot pink, and orange linens for the buffet table that matched perfect with the beautiful flower arrangement designed by Janet Flowers. Janet used tropical flowers , palm tree, and banana leaves. So gorgeous. Loved it!
It was a warm and beautiful day – the guests began to arrive right on time at noon and we eventually catered for 220 adults and 30 kids – 70 people more than we expected, but that’s ok – we pulled it off :-) We had plenty of food and everybody had a great time. Many of the REI staff told us it was the best summer party they had ever had … great!
Of course, you can’t have a summer party without hot dogs and burgers – so we had our crew there with our portable grills cooking everything at the picnic site. Everything was so yummy – is there anything better then grilled corn on the cob? I don’t think so :-)
We also had a mix of Indian and vegetarian foods – check out the Indian dishes we provided (below) prepared by chef Marcel Bernard – everyone loved it – and so did I since I’m a very big fan of International cuisine!

I can’t forget to mention how great it was to work with Carolyn Howell, the vice president & managing partner of Fun Company Picnics and her entire staff at Dulles Golf Center. They’re on top of every detail and made our job very easy.
We’re very impressed with the variety of activities, such as volleyball, basketball, a baseball pitching cage, putt putt golf, moon bounce, a DJ, face painting, caricatures, and of course, a tug of war! We definitively will recommend their space to our clients. See pics below:
